An online video game played on the streets

Red Bull Skate Arcade was a global campaign that went live in 23 countries across Europe, Asia & South America. Players completed levels by uploading videos of themselves completing the trick challenges set by Red Bull. As players progressed through the levels the tricks got harder and only the best got through. The prize was to compete in the special grand final event along side the pros.

The site had to balance the communication of the game rules along with ensuring the site was easy for players to use and play the game. From an Art Direction perspective, the approach was to capture the creative energy of the Skating scene and mix it with the visual language of classic arcade video games.
